Alpine Plants Of The Pyrenees with Todd Boland

Todd is a plant ecologist and works at the Memorial University of Newfoundland Botanical Garden.  He has travelled the world photographing plants and birds.

Aragon is one of several provinces located in Spain. It encompasses the central portion of the Pyrenees Mountains and is home to several endemic alpines that are well-known in the alpine world – Ramonda myconi and Saxifraga longifolia. However, the area is also home to a wide diversity of additional highly-desirable alpine plants including wild Narcissus, Gentiana verna and Gentiana. alpina and a host of orchids.
