Predator Free 2050 - Traps & Talk

This is a workshop where you will learn more about the predators which are disturbing our precious native animals and plants here in Central Otago.  

Andrew Cousins, ORC Biodiversity Officer, will present on the challenges introduced mammals are causing Central Otago's unique biodiversity. There will be discussion on options for predator control in an urban setting, and what Predator Free 2050 is aspiring to achieve.

You will have the opportunity to make a trap box, learn best practice for this type of trap and take it home for use in your back yard. 

Traps and boxes supplied and supported by KiwiBank Predator Free 2050, and MAD4CO.

Time: 1 - 4 pm 

$15 per person (includes one trap and box per household)
