Two local enthusiasts, and market regulars: Peter and Sharon Brass use Central Otago's unique conditions to grow a variety of vegetables. They are on a mission to encourage you to grow your own vegetables. Producing healthy food, and saving the planet at the same time.
Take a journey into self sufficient living with the seasons. An inspiring visit to their highly productive vegetable garden with practical demonstrations to get your vegetables thriving in Central Otago's unique conditions. You will also get the opportunity to ask questions. If you have particular questions about your own vege growing problems please email them prior to the session at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Meet at Community House in Alexandra for shared transport, at 9:30am, for a 10:00 start. The session finishes at 12:30pm. Shared transport back to Community House, by 1:00pm.
However you may prefer to bring a picnic lunch, for a picnic under the cherry trees, until 2pm. Hot drinks and toilet available
