Two local enthusiasts use Central Otago's unique conditions to grow a terrific variety of vegetables, and lots of worms to make worm castings (or Worm Poo) which is used as an excellent soil conditioner.
They are on a mission to encourage you to grow your own vegetables and fruit. Producing healthy food, and saving the planet at the same time.
Meet Robbie DIck for a tour of his worm farm. See what worm products have done for his veges and flowers.
Then visit Peter and Sharon Brass. Tour their highly productive vegetable, flower garden and orchard. Take a journey into self sufficient living with the seasons. Ask about their practical approach to growing, living, and giving.
Plants and worm products will be available to purchase.
