The Crop Swap Shop

Mother Nature is abundant and when we share her gifts we all thrive. Crop Swap Aotearoa with MAD4CO brings together backyard gardeners, home bakers and food foragers for swapping and sharing high quality local food.

Crop Swaps are beneficial for the natural environment, enhance the quality of life for the individual and help build well-connected communities that are based on generosity and fairness. The variety on offer is huge: vegetables, fruits, plants, flowers, seedlings, herbs, eggs, preserves, jams, baking, liquid manure, gardening books, magazines, planting containers, sometimes even chooks who need a new home.

Do I need to register to participate? No, you can simply turn up and join the fun whenever you feel like it.

What can I bring? We share everything homegrown and homemade: Vegetables, fruits, herbs, plants, seedlings, flowers, seeds, baking, preserves, sauces, jam and all things yummy! You can also bring everything garden and kitchen related like empty containers, tools, labels, planting pots, worm juice, coffee grounds, gardening magazines, cook books, recipes…possibilities are endless.
