Daily Activities in Pioneer Park

Working Artists 9.30am - 4.00pm
The following artists will be working in the Marquee each day:
9.30am - 11.30am - Working with invited children
1.00pm - 3.00pm - Adult workshops

Artists will be available to share their work with the public between
11.30am - 1.00pm and 3.00pm - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Enviro Schools Tent Pioneer Park

Each day the tent is hosted by one of our Enviroschools. The children celebrate their environmental
projects with presentations, demonstrations and interactive activities. Themes such as environmental
art, edible gardens, recycling, germinating kowhai seeds, beautification projects, paper making and
many more. Come and meet the children as they share their achievements. The Department of
Conservation will feature a display about 'Project Gold'. Project Gold is about reinstating local
indigenous species beginning with the Kowhai.



Borrow a Bike

Purple bikes and helmets will be available at a number of locations for you to borrow and return
REAP, Cafe Rossi, Central Stories and New World.
